Sesame was one of the plant found in the
tomb of Tutankhamum (1370-1352 B.C.). In ancient Egypt , the
seeds were eaten and also pressed to yield oil, which was burnet
in lamps and used to make ointments. Sesame has also been eaten
and used in India and China for thousand of Years. |
